Power Play

Join us for an evening of fashion, food and fun during the sixth annual Power Play event benefiting Phoenix Children’s on Wednesday, April 24. We're excited to celebrate the healing power of play as our brave patients take to the runway in custom-designed superhero suits created in partnership with student fashion designers from the Fashion Program at ASU's School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. These custom-designed superhero suits are inspired by their healing journeys.

Please note that this is an invitation-only event.

About Power Play

Power Play 2023

Inspired by a Today Show segment, Power Play is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Phoenix Children’s and Arizona State University’s School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. Each spring, student fashion designers from ASU use their talents to help Phoenix Children’s patients bring their inner superheroes to life, allowing the kids to use play as part of their healing process.

Donations to Power Play 2024 benefit the Hope Fund, which empowers Phoenix Children's to quickly address emerging health care challenges and seize opportunities to enhance patient care. Donations to the Hope Fund are invested in:

  • State-of-the-art equipment and technology
  • Cutting-edge research and clinical trials
  • Innovative clinical programs
  • Family-centered services
